We have secured a visit to the Williams Racing Experience Centre in Oxfordshire. This opportunity is a one-day STEM enrichment programme to introduce our young people to STEM careers through the lens of motorsports. The experience will include:
- Esports race simulators where the participants drive formula one tracks around the world.
- An overview of STEM careers in F1, from engineering to design and materials.
- Project-based STEM activities exploring aerodynamics and the physics of crash tests.
- A Williams museum tour to see over 50 heritage cars, and learn about the innovations in car development from carbon fibre to tyre technology.
Consent forms for the trip must be handed in by May 14th to secure your child’s place.
