Business Education involves pupils learning about the role of businesses in our society and prepares them for the workplace by giving them an understanding of how businesses operate. The business world is always changing therefore we try to offer dynamic courses contextualising pupils’ learning through the use of real life examples and promoting their understanding of the local and Scottish economies. There is great emphasis on the use of technology, group working and enterprise in classes.

In S1-3 pupils are given an introduction to Business Education through ICT and Enterprise courses. In the Senior Phase pupils may opt to study Administration and IT or Business Management at National 3 – Higher levels.
