History is the study of past events through investigating and exploring how they have shaped and influenced the society we live in.  As a community rich in local History, we as a department actively promote students’ passion of both world and local History.  When in the History department, pupils will consolidate their historical knowledge and further develop skills such as discussing, presenting and researching evidence to draw conclusions.
