Modern Studies helps you to understand the most important issues in the world today. It helps you gather information about these issues, evaluate the information you have and, most importantly, it helps you make your own mind up and come to your own conclusions about these issues.

In Modern Studies there will be opportunities for pupils to develop analytical skills through working with a variety of sources.  Pupils will learn to identify accuracy and bias, and make informed judgements as well as to draw conclusions which can be justified and supported.
