Geography helps pupils to develop a knowledge and understanding of current events from the local area to the global. They will investigate different aspects of the earth and its peoples, study the features of the earth and find out how they were formed. Pupils will also gain an understanding and appreciation of the cultures and backgrounds of people from all over the world.

Geography enables pupils to develop a range of useful skills such as map reading, data collection and analysis as well as ICT and problem solving.
