Message From Prof I Baikie, Parent Council Chairman

Parent Forum meeting and Parent Council AGM
Wick High School parent council meets once or twice a term. We get updates on the school, discuss school policy and undertake cooperative projects. The parent council provides an informal forum for parents to make suggestions and give feedback. Our recent projects include promoting and representing the school, school infrastructure, fundraising for school trips and financial support for after-hours groups.
Our next meetingis our AGM and will be held on Monday 7th Sept at 7 pm (virtual meeting via Google Meet). The forum meeting is open to all parents and carers.
All schools need a strong and vibrant parent council and it’s a nice way of contributing to the school community. Due to current restrictions we are meeting virtually using google hangouts. If you write to me at wickhighpc@gmail.com I can forward an invite and send you the agenda. To participate you will need to have a gmail, hotmail, googlemail or sky.com account. If you would like any further information please let me know.
With regards,
Iain Baikie (Chair)
