S1 Parents/Guardians: See Your Child’s Work Online!

Our S1 pupils have been hard at work over the past few months creating online profiles of their best work and the skills that they have used so far this year. These profiles have been made in Google Sites using their new Chromebooks and are a superb record of all they have done in their first year of secondary school, so far.
This week, each of the pupils will receive a letter inviting parents and guardians to participate in the project with their child. We are looking for as many parents and guardians to sign up to view their child’s profile by giving us an email address which will allow them access. When the email address is received we will add the parent/guardian as a ‘viewer’ of the profile and this can then be accessed at any time. This will allow parents to keep up to date with their child’s work in school as well as allowing parents and pupils to share in success as the year progresses.
We will give this letter to pupils in registration tomorrow but if you would like to see a copy of it, you can view or download it below. If you would like to participate in the project can we please have your chosen email address submitted via the letter or by email to grant.mackenzie@highland.gov.uk by Friday February 1st.
Many thanks in advance for your support.
