Marvin Andrews Visits Wick High School

Ex professional football player, Marvin Andrews visited the school on Monday to speak to our youngsters about his life, career and Christian faith.
In what was a busy day he worked with some of the players from our S1/2 football teams and some senior PE students in football drills as well as speaking to them about the mentality needed to succeed in top-level sports. He also addressed whole year groups (S3, S4 and S5) and spoke to them about his career. He finished the day with what must have been a personal highlight after such a decorated football career; a game of six a sides with teaching staff.
This is the second time that he has visited the school and his input would be welcomed again; the staff and pupils of the school were hugely impressed by Marvin and he, in return, complemented our youngsters on their manners and attention.
