Wick High’s S2 Netball Team were drawn against Albyn School from Aberdeen in the ‘last 16’ of the Scottish Schools Cup. The game was played in Inverness on Wednesday 29th of January.
The Wick girls had a slightly nervy start but quickly settled into the game leading the first half 11-5. Each player worked hard throughout the whole game and showed off some fantastic netball across all areas of the court. In the end Wick finished on top with a score of 24-9.
A special mention to Izzy Alexander who received ‘Player of the Match’ for her tireless efforts in Centre position throughout the entire game, linking up brilliantly between defence and attack.
The girls now progress into the quarter finals of the competition. Well done to you all!
