This year over 60 of our S2 pupils took part in the UK Maths Trust Junior Maths Challenge. The Junior Maths Challenge is national competition consisting of 25 multiple choice questions, to be completed in 60 minutes. The challenge is designed to make pupils think, to test their mathematical reasoning and ability to problem solve. The top performing pupils in the country are then awarded Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates.
This year we had 17 Wick High School pupils achieve a Bronze award and 3 gaining Silver, with Declan Bramble achieving the award for Best in School.
