Please see, below, an exciting opportunity for S2 pupils:
For the first time, Wick High School is participating in the Pete Riding Award for sustainability. This award is open to second year pupils.
To win the award, you need to create something that promotes the idea of sustainability to young people at Wick High School. This could include ideas such as recycling more, making smarter shopping choices or being more sustainable with our transport choices. You can create anything you want to spread your message. It might be a T-Shirt, a 3D poster, a hanging mobile or really anything you choose. Whatever you do though, it needs to be made from recycled materials. Your creation needs to include one key message about sustainability, and deliver that message in a striking and inventive way. Hopefully, this means that people will remember it more when making choices about their lifestyles!
You need to hand in your project to your social subjects teacher by Monday the 25th of March in order to compete for the prize. For further information, see your Social Subjects teacher.
