Christmas Fun-draising at Wick High!

Some of our S6 students have been working hard to spread some much-needed Christmas cheer in what remains of the term with a series of events to have fun and raise money for local charities.

All of this week and next (Monday and Tuesday) pupils are encouraged to wear something ‘Christmassy’. It might be a jumper, a sprig of holly in your hair…whatever takes your fancy! Registration teachers will take donations in the morning from those getting into the Christmas spirit; any amount is welcome.

In addition the S6 students are raising money by raffling a Christmas hamper of seasonal goodies as well as taking nominations for a small fee to decide which member of staff will be made to wear an inflatable Santa costume for the last Friday of term (18th Dec). The unfortunate teacher with the most votes ‘wins’!

Please support our senior pupils with this work by wearing something for Christmas or by donating money to the raffle or Staff-Santa auction at break and lunchtime each day this week.
