Senior School Subject Choice Form & Learning Agreement Published

This week, pupils entering S4-6 next academic year were given assemblies on two important school documents; the (draft) Senior School Choice Form and the Senior School Learning Agreement.

Miss Carrie Bennett, the Depute Rector in charge of curricular planning, took the pupils through the process of completing these documents as well as detailing the various options available to each year group, S4-6.

These documents will be issued on paper to all relevant pupils on Monday 11th March but copies are available to preview and download below. Included with the Choice Form and Learning Agreement are copies of the school’s Senior Prospectus, which will be useful in learning more about the subjects and levels on offer, and a list of YASS courses which are independent study courses provided by The Open University, exclusively available to S6. Also available is a copy of the presentation used by Miss Bennett in the assemblies which also helps clarify the methods of completing the choice form and the deadlines for its submission.

The Senior School Learning Agreement is a document outlining the standards that we expect from pupils who chose to remain in school after they have reached minimum leaving age as well as making clear what we, as a school, agree to do in order for senior pupils to make the very most of their time with us. We would ask that all pupils intending to return for the Senior Phase read carefully this agreement and return it with their signature and that of a parent/carer.

Please be advised that the Senior Choice Form is in draft format at this time and is for information only. The final choice form deadlines are shown below:
