Pupil Council: Your School Needs You!

At Wick High School we are looking for pupils to represent their class, house and school as members of our newly-relaunched pupil council structure.
Today in assemblies, pupils were briefed on the skills needed to fill the role and the nomination and selection process which will start tomorrow when registration teachers will issue nomination forms. Pupils can use these forms to nominate their classmates to represent them and their house in issues relating to the improvement of the school.
Once nominations are received a shortlist of candidates will talk to a panel including staff, Parent Council members and local councillors to earn the right to represent their peers this academic year.
We hope, that by forging a strong Pupil Council, we at Wick High School will be able to capture the views and opinions of our students in order to improve the school and foster an environment where staff and students work closely together.
Below you will find copies of the nomination forms as well as the slides from the presentation given today.
