We were delighted to have two superb Primary 7 to S1 Induction Days on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. We have to say that our staff were very impressed with the mannerly, friendly and enthusiastic pupils who came from their primary schools to spend the days with us following the timetable that they will have after the summer holiday. The pupils were all very keen to tell us how much they had enjoyed their days which was great to hear and bodes well for the future and their first weeks as secondary school pupils in August. We were also very pleased to welcome the parents/guardians of our new pupils to the school on Tuesday night to hear a presentation from members of the Senior Management Team and to ask any questions they had of Mrs Shearer, Head of Pupil Support, and the Guidance teachers, Mrs Gunn, Mr Mackintosh and Mrs Clasper. We thank everyone involved in these days, especially our new S1 pupils and their parents/guardians. We look forward to seeing you in the new term and wish you all a restful summer.
