Last Saturday we opened the doors of our new school to the general public for the first time. We were delighted to welcome almost one thousand people through our doors all eager to see for themselves our superb new building. Members of the school’s Parent Council served tea, coffee and pancakes while teaching staff and some fine S3 volunteers helped show our guest round the premises.

We were so pleased with the overwhelmingly positive feedback from people who visited; it would be fair to say that there were many pleasantly surprised after the unfair negative press that we experienced leading up to the building’s opening.
