We are only days away from saying goodbye to our current school building after 107 years. Last week we took the majority of our pupils to the site of their new school to show them around and explain to them how the building will operate.

Next week we will have two days, Monday and Tuesday, open to the pupil population before we close to pupils for the first of our ‘moving days’ on Wednesday. After the Easter holiday we are set to reopen to pupils on Wednesday 26th April for our first day in our new school.

We appreciate that moving to a new school is a very exciting but challenging time for all involved so, as well as visiting the school at least once, we have prepared two documents to aid the transition; a map of the school showing departments and room numbers and a booklet which has been used by the school’s Pupil Support Department to support their pupils in making the move.
