Scottish Southern Energy Apprenticeships Available Now

SSE are currently advertising for apprentices. The closing date for the applications is Sunday 19th March 2017.

Fiona McNab our SDS careers advisor has very kindly provided us with a summary of the job description and also has created two documents available below to assist with the application and interview process. She told us:

You should have, or be on target to achieve, Maths and Physics at A2 Level (A-C) or SQA Higher (A-B), as well as English at GCSE (A -C) or National 5 (Scotland). Alternatively, you may already be experienced within a technical role, and hold a minimum of HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.

You don’t need any experience to apply. You just need to have an interest in the work of SSE, an appreciation of their core values, particularly safety and the desire to do well. To meet the college requirements you’ll need a minimum of 4 GCSEs (grade C or above or a minimum of a National 4 in Scotland) to include Maths, English and a Science or Craft subject.
