S1 Pupils Take Part In ‘Readathon’

The S1 pupils of Wick High School have just finished their participation in the annual Readathon charity event. Miss McFadden of the English Dept coordinated the events and tells us more:

“Well done to all of you who participated in the Readathon this year – we have raised £366.85 which will help seriously ill children across the UK. This is fantastic and you should be very proud of yourselves!”

The winners of the Readathon competition were:

Beth Nicolson in 1R who read a whopping 35 books in this time – congratulations!

Dylan Jackson in 1M who raised £90 during his sponsorship – fantastic!
