The Wick High School Under 15s bounced back from their heartbreaking defeat to Nicolson Institute, Stornoway in the North of Scotland Cup by scoring a memorable 5-2 away victory over their cross-county rivals Thurso High School.
The game, although a friendly tie and played on the last day of the term last year, was a lively affair with a missed penalty for the home side which would have seen the game at the time poised on a knife-edge at 2-2. Luck was with the East of Caithness men on this occasion however as goals from Kieron Davies and Steven Hughes sandwiched a hat trick for Inverness Caley Thistle youth player Ross Gunn.
All in all a marvellous way to end the year; congratulations to all the lads involved.
