Wick High School’s talented sports men and women again brought glory back to Caithness this week as many of our pupils notched up victories and runners-up places in the recent North of Scotland Badminton Competition held in Inverness.

The full list of winners is shown below. All medal winners will qualify to compete in the Scottish Championships in Perth next March. Photos of the event will follow. Many thanks to Mrs Bain for accompanying the group.

Under 14

Robbie Gunn (2M) and Nicole Miller (1F) were runners-up in the mixed doubles

Under 16

Morven Coghill and Carly Sinclair (both 3S) were winners of the girls doubles

Carly Sinclair and Paul Stewart (4S) were runners-up in the mixed doubles

Under 19

Aidan Young 5M was runner up in the boys singles
