Some of our Higher Geography pupils went out in to the unusually clement October weather on Friday to complete some field work, assisted by their teacher Mrs Clasper, and staff from GeoBus at St Andrews University.

Mrs Clasper tells us more: “A busy and very windy day today for WHS pupils completing fieldwork with GeoBus St Andrews. Pupils carried out sand dune transects at Dunnet Bay and some field sketching and rock identification at Brough Pier all towards completing their coursework. A fantastic day was had by all and, once again, a big thanks to GeoBus for coming to guide us through the day”
