The Wick High School PE Department is delighted to host Sports Personality of the Year 2026 on April 1st, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This evening is a celebration of our wonderful pupils, their commitment to extra-curricular sports, and their sporting achievements within the community.
The Voting Process
We want everyone involved! Here is how the voting will work:
- Pupil Vote: On March 20th, pupils will vote for who they believe should be Sports Personality of the Year (S4–S6) and Rising Star (S1–S3).
- Parent Vote: Your child will be provided with a voting slip during registration on the 20th of March so that you can have your say! We encourage all parents to participate.
- Get Informed: Details regarding the nominees’ achievements will be posted on this website, WickHighPE Instagram and Wick High School Facebook pages to help inform your decision.

How to return your vote (Pupil)
Complete the google form on your year group google classroom on the 20th of March. Voting closes on the until the 26th of March
How to Return Your Vote (Parent)
Please complete the form provided by your child and have them return it to either their registration teacher or the PE base. Voting closes on March 26th.
Attendance & Invitations
Pupils who have regularly attended an after school sports club, represented the school in a sporting event/fixture or have been nominated are all invited to the event
Please let the PE department know if you will be attending
Parents/Carers of all individual and team nominees are cordially invited to the event. Please ensure your child notifies the PE department of your attendance.
