We have taken the decision to close the school to all staff and pupils tomorrow, Wednesday 7th January 2026.

This decision has been taken in response to the continued poor weather, especially in our rural areas where many pupils and staff will struggle to safely travel to school especially with the recent cancellation of Highland Council bus services, including school runs. We also have a large number of teaching staff who are unable to travel from areas of the county and further afield which are still severely impacted by snowfall.

We have also taken the decision to postpone the prelim examinations which were scheduled for Thursday 8th and Friday 9th of January. These will be rescheduled for later dates. The examinations planned for Monday 12th January onwards remain unaffected.

Work for all classes missed tomorrow will be posted via Google Classroom.

We will post further updates here as we have them. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope to welcome everyone back to school as soon as possible.
