Last week Mr Tillier, Mrs Mackay and a number of pupils took a trip to Scrabster where they were given a tour of the Ievoli Black. The ship is an offshore supply tug which acts as a rescue service for larger ships in trouble at sea. The tour gave a very interesting insight into the role that the ship played and the different areas including the bridge, engine room and perhaps most importantly for the pupils – the break room! Here they sat down for a chat with some crew members and were treated to proper Italian pizza as the teachers had a well deserved espresso!
