In April S2 pupils had the opportunity to show off their maths skills in the annual UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. Entries are received from around 3700 schools across the UK and Wick High School won 13 certificates.

Archie Budge and Cate McGowan both won silver with Archie also receiving ‘Best in Year Group’. Bronze winners were Cara Mackenzie, Kirstin Ganson, Chloe O’Neill, Calum Forbes, David Teixeira, Sarah Harper, Paige Rosie, Maja Pearson, Lewis Paterson, Erin MacGregor and Shannon Campbell.
