WHS Pupils Strike Swimming Gold

Our school continues to produce some of the most talented sports men and women in the Highlands.

Following on from the success of our footballers and rugby players we are delighted to share the success of some of our swimmers.

The following pupils travelled to Inverness to take part in the Highland Schools Swimming competition last week, winning the medals listed for their age group below.

Ryan Edwards – Gold in the 200m Individual Medley and Silver in the 400m Free
Max Hagan – Gold in the 200m Breaststroke and Gold in the 100m Breaststroke
Liam Harper – Silver in the 200m Breaststroke
Angus Henry – Gold in the 200m Breaststroke & Silver in the 200m Individual Medley
Iain Fishenden – Bronze in the 200m Breaststroke
Robbie Gunn – Gold in the 100m Freestyle and Bronze in the 100m Breaststroke
Isla Miller – Bronze in the 400m Freestyle and Bronze in the 200m Breaststroke
Kevagh Bremner – Gold in the 200m Backstroke and Bronze in the 100m Backstroke

It was an excellent day with all pupils swimming well and gaining some brilliant PB’s as well as the host of medals listed above.
